Arrive in Rio Branco, the capital of Acre. After checking into your hotel, start your exploration with a city orientation tour. Visit the Gameleira Area (Calçadão da Gameleira), a historic riverside promenade, and enjoy the charming colonial architecture and local cafés. This will be the perfect introduction to the city's cultural roots and a peaceful start to your adventure. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Acrean dinner and relax before the days ahead.
On the second day, dive deeper into Rio Branco’s political and economic history. Visit the Palácio Rio Branco, an iconic historical landmark and government building, to learn about the state’s path to integration into Brazil. Afterward, head to the Museu da Borracha (Rubber Museum), where you’ll discover the history of rubber tapping, the seringueiros, and the impact of the rubber industry on Acre’s growth. This day will give you a deeper understanding of the region’s transformation during the rubber boom.
Day three is dedicated to Acre’s nature and wildlife. Start with a visit to Horto Florestal Park, a large urban park filled with native Amazonian flora. Enjoy walking trails, birdwatching, and the tranquil atmosphere of the rainforest environment. Take time to relax by the lake and explore the various eco-friendly activities available. The afternoon can be spent enjoying the natural beauty of the area, including a visit to the nearby Acre River, for a scenic riverside walk.
On the fourth day, explore the cultural and environmental heritage of Chico Mendes, the renowned environmentalist from Acre. On your final day, take a day trip to Xapuri, a small town known for its historical significance and its strong ties to the rubber industry and Chico Mendes. Afterward, return to Rio Branco in the afternoon for a leisurely evening, where you can enjoy a final dinner at a local restaurant before preparing for your departure.
1.Reservation and Booking
All bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour date.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking.
Full payment must be made before the tour begins.
2. Tour Availability
The tour is available on select dates and subject to availability.
In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather or closures), the tour may be rescheduled or canceled. Participants will be notified promptly and offered alternative dates or full refunds.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the tour will receive a full refund (minus the deposit).
Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the day of the tour.
4. Participant Requirements
The tour involves walking and may require some physical activity. Participants should be in good health and capable of walking moderate distances.
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
5. Liability
The tour operator is not liable for any personal injuries, loss of property, or accidents during the tour.
Participants are responsible for their own belongings and personal safety during the tour.
6. Tour Itinerary
The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic, or other unforeseen events.
The tour operator reserves the right to adjust the schedule to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
7. Health and Safety
Participants are required to follow all local health guidelines and safety protocols during the tour.
It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
8. Photography and Media
Participants are welcome to take photographs during the tour for personal use.
By joining the tour, participants consent to being included in photographs or video footage taken during the tour, which may be used for promotional purposes.
9. Force Majeure
The tour operator shall not be held responsible for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other events of force majeure.
